Cancellation Policy

Union Ridge Publishing | www.unionridgepublishing.com

Union Ridge Publishing is committed to delivering high-quality publishing services. We understand that circumstances may change, and we have established the following Cancellation Policy to ensure fairness for both our clients and our team.

1. Cancellation by Client

Clients may request cancellation of services at any time by contacting us through our website or via email. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
All cancellation requests will be acknowledged within 2 business days of receipt.

2. Refund Schedule Based on Project Stage

Before Project Commencement: If cancellation is requested before any work has begun, the client is eligible for a full refund of the deposit paid, minus any transaction or processing fees.
Within 48 Hours of Project Start: If minimal work has been completed (e.g., initial research or brief outline), the client may receive a partial refund of up to 75% of the deposit.
After Active Work Has Begun (Up to 25% completion): A refund of up to 50% of the deposit may be issued, taking into account the time and resources already invested by our team.
After 25%–50% Project Completion: A refund of up to 25% of the total project fee may be considered at our discretion, based on the work completed.
After 50% Project Completion: No refund will be issued once more than half the work has been completed. The client will retain all work produced up to the point of cancellation.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be issued in the following circumstances:
– The project has been completed and final files have been delivered to the client.
– The client has approved and signed off on the completed work.
– Cancellation is requested due to a change of mind after significant work has been delivered.
– The client has failed to provide required materials or feedback, resulting in project delays beyond our control.

4. Cancellation Due to Client Inactivity

If a client fails to respond to communications or provide required materials for more than 30 consecutive days without prior notice, Union Ridge Publishing reserves the right to suspend or cancel the project.
In such cases, any deposits paid will be forfeited, and the project will be considered cancelled. Work completed up to that point may be delivered upon payment of any outstanding balance.

5. Cancellation by Union Ridge Publishing

Union Ridge Publishing reserves the right to cancel a project under the following circumstances:
– Violation of our Terms & Conditions by the client.
– Discovery that the project involves illegal, defamatory, or unethical content.
– Abusive or threatening behavior towards our team members.
In such cases, a full refund of any unused portion of the payment will be issued, minus work already completed.

6. Project Pause / Hold

Clients who need to temporarily pause a project may request a project hold for up to 60 days, subject to team availability upon resumption.
Projects held beyond 60 days may be subject to a reactivation fee or revised pricing, as team resources and availability cannot be guaranteed for extended periods.

7. Revision vs. Cancellation

Dissatisfaction with deliverables does not automatically qualify for cancellation or a refund. Clients are encouraged to utilize the revision rounds included in their package to address concerns.
If you are unhappy with the direction of the project, please contact us immediately so we can work together to find a satisfactory resolution before considering cancellation.
